Bronze Beauty Cleyera

The Bronze Beauty Cleyera, Clevera japonica Conthery, is great for mid-sized evergreen hedges. To do so, plant 5 feet apart, center to center. Its compact growth habit makes an outstanding accent or foundation plant. New leaves emerge with a striking bronze color turning to a deep green in fall and winter. Tiny, fragrant white flowers are an added bonus in the spring. Bronze Beauty Cleyera Care Plant in well-drained slightly acidic soil, watering regularly to establish. Fertilize in spring with a slow-release fertilizer. Prune to shape or to maintain desired height when used as a hedge. Bronze Beauty Cleyera Spacing Plant 5 feet apart, center to center when establishing a formal or informal hedge. When creating a shrub border, plant 8 feet apart, center to center.
