The Glow Pop™ Japanese Holly or Ilex crenata is a fast-growing, low-maintenance shrub that makes a significant visual impact despite its compact size. Ovate leaves grow along upright stems, and their bright green color makes a big impact. New leaves have a bronzy hue, but mature leaves are almost fluorescent green. The small size prevents this boldly colored shrub from overwhelming a landscape. The compact growth habit is ideal for areas with limited space or a container. Create an evergreen foundation planting, low hedge, or focal point in a mixed bed.
