The Panicum virgatum boasts green leaves with a slight blue tint for added dimension and interest. During late summer, brown flowers bloom on tall stems and create a cloud-like haze over the foliage. By fall, the flowers transition into cream-colored seed heads. This stately plant can anchor a bed or create a robust border.
